Well what about when the kid finds out about the religion before the parents even know it exists? I mean I'm a kid, and I want to try the religion out. I think I should talk to my friend, see if she wants to try it out too. Then at least we'd both be in the same boat. Come to think of it, her family isn't very nice so a religion change wouldn't be the best for her. Any tips on how I can break the news to my mom? She'll tell my dad for me. Do you find this valuable?

Well...it really depends on your age hun. I would recommend that you talk to your mom, and tell her that Wicca and Witchcraft is something that you would like to study. And be prepared for her to freak out, but assure her that you wont be killing the neighborhood cats or dogs and that its mostly a mind thing. Candles r nice, but not required. And also give yourself about a year to really see if its something you want to do, dont dedicate urself before your ready. And as always feel free to ask me any ?? that you may have, dont be shy. The one who never asks, never learns. Do you find this valuable?

Oh and your dad completly doesn't beilive in magic and tarot cards and palm reading? He just always says "I can't belive people belive in that." Do you think I should check some books out of the religion and then tell my mom I found some books on it and it sounded intresting. Then after a while say I want to try the religion out? Do you find this valuable?

Yeah that sounds like the best way, If your dad is a non believer, then well thats his right . Many times we have to just have the guts to ask them y they dont believe. And...since you're under 13, Id give this some serious thought, Im not saying you're too young, just not experienced in life enough. And witchcraft isnt a game, and its not gonna make you cool, or change the way others view you. But if this is the path you choose, make sure you can make a lifelong commitment. Oh trust me I have a lot more experience in life than a normal kid. I'm not saying I have the most experience but a lot more than my friends. At least I found some people who don't just condem me to a little kid because I'm not a teen. And I know it won't make me cool and I also don't think o fit as a game. I don't know what it is that makes me want to try it. But I don't know much abou it.... Do you find this valuable?
