Blessed Be
A traditional greeting of witches. It is a shortened form of a blessing included in the "initiation" ceremony of many traditions. In full, the rite is as follows:
Blessed by thy feet, that have brought thee in these ways
Blessed be thy knees, that shall kneel at the Sacred Altar.
Blessed be thy womb/genitals, the fount of life, without which we would not be.
Blessed be thy breasts, erected in beauty and in strength.
Blessed be thy lips, which shall utter the sacred names.
To say "Blessed Be" to another is to imply this full blessing.
